Recent Trends in the Study of Music of the Fourteenth, Fifteenth, and Sixteenth Centuries

Jointly authored article in Renaissance Quarterly now out.

Patrick Macey asked me to write the fourteenth-century part of a review of recent trends in the study of music from the time period covered by the RSA‘s journal Renaissance Quarterly (roughly 1300-1700). He introduces the piece and my part is then followed by contributions from David Fallows and Kate van Orden dealing with the later centuries.
